Cast And Crew Of 'Extreme Job' Set To Receive Bonus Following Film's Box Office Success

The cast and crew of the hit film “Extreme Job” will be getting a bonus for their exceptional work!

On July 9, a source from CJ Entertainment confirmed, “The film ‘Extreme Job’ will be going through its first calculation of earnings this month,” and “The cast and crew are all expected to receive a bonus.”

“Extreme Job” is a comedic film that tells the story of a group of detectives who go undercover at a fried chicken shop, but their recipe unexpectedly makes their restaurant the hottest place to eat in town. The film stars Ryu Seung RyongHoney LeeJin Seon KyuLee Dong Hwi, and Gong Myung. It was released in January and attracted a total of 16,264,525 moviegoers, making it the second most-watched Korean film. The 2014 film “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” has kept its top box office spot with 17,615,437 moviegoers.

However, in terms of sales, “Extreme Job” comes out on top. Production costs are estimated to have been about 9.5 billion won (approximately $8.03 million) but the movie more than made up for it in theaters as it racked up sales of 138.3 billion won (approximately $116.91 million).

With the film being such a hit, “Extreme Job” is set to get a Hollywood makeover. CJ Entertainment and Universal Studios will be working together, with Kevin Hart set to lead the film.
