July Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from June 11 to July 12.
BTS topped the rankings for the 14th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 15,236,505. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jimin,” “Oricon,” and “game,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “happy,” “enjoy,” and “like.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.51 percent positive reactions.
EXO came in at No. 2 on the list with a brand reputation index of 4,806,308, marking a 19.14 percent increase in their score since June.
WINNER rose to No. 3 in this month’s rankings after seeing an impressive 154.25 percent increase in their score since last month. The group’s total brand reputation index for July came out to 2,548,404.
SF9 shot up to No. 4 on the list with a brand reputation index of 2,244,238, marking a staggering 274.82 percent increase in their score, while SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five for July with an index of 2,078,193.
