IZ*ONE's "Buenos Aires" And MONSTA X's "Alligator" Achieve Gold Certifications In Japan

IZ*ONE and MONSTA X have been certified gold in Japan!

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) recently revealed the list of new certifications for the month of June 2019. IZ*ONE’s “Buenos Aires,” released on June 26, 2019, and MONSTA X’s “Alligator,” which was released on June 12, 2019, were on the list of singles that were certified gold.

The gold certification is given to albums and singles that surpass 100,000 copies in cumulative net shipments.

MONSTA X now has four singles certified gold under their belts including “Spotlight, “Livin’ It Up,” and “Shoot Out,” while IZ*ONE’s Japanese debut single “Suki to Iwasetai” was previously certified platinum.
