GFRIEND And Lee Soo Man To Appear In BBC Documentary About K-Pop

GFRIEND and Lee Soo Man will be appearing in a BBC documentary about K-pop!

According to Source Music, GFRIEND recently participated in an interview with BBC after the broadcasting channel contacted them about a documentary related to K-pop. As representatives of K-pop artists, GFRIEND spoke candidly about the advantages of music shows and their usual methods for practicing.

The documentary is a project in which its producers experience the heightened status and popularity of K-pop in Korea, the home of K-pop. The producers will try to better understand K-pop culture, especially through a look at music shows that have been well-received in both Korea and overseas for their excellent systems.

In addition to GFRIEND, the BBC producers interviewed Lee Soo Man for his role in establishing SM Entertainment and being one of the most influential producers in K-pop, which is currently enjoying explosive popularity around the world.

During the interview, Lee Soo Man, who created the current K-pop craze by exporting the genre to overseas markets, explained the development process and success of K-pop and suggested a proposal for the future of the industry.
