BTS Earns Spot On TIME's "25 Most Influential People On The Internet" List For 3rd Year

BTS has once again been named one of the most influential people on the internet by TIME magazine!

After also making TIME’s “The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet” list in 2017 and 2018, BTS has been included on the 2019 list. TIME determines its contenders “by looking at their global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news.”

BTS makes the list (which is not ranked) alongside names including Lil Nas X, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, President Donald Trump, Rahaf Mohammed, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, and more.

Raisa Bruner of TIME magazine describes BTS’s millions-strong fanbase ARMY who “avidly consume and promote their content online” and states that fans propel the group to even greater success. TIME also mentions BTS’s achievements including three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the past year, the record-breaking 75 million YouTube views on their “Boy With Luv” music video in the first 24 hours, and their new mobile game BTS World that topped Apple App Store charts in many countries.

BTS was also named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2019 earlier this year.
