Gini Casting To Launch Global Girl Group Project

A large-scale girl group audition is coming up!

On July 17, details were revealed about “Gini Girls70 Project,” a collaboration between Gini Casting and its global partners. 350 contestants will participate in it over a span of three years, and seven members each from 10 countries will be chosen as the first generation members.

Contestants will use Gini Casting’s “self audition” system to both apply and evaluate other contestants. The competition and selection process will be produced as a documentary and air in 10 countries with different versions for each country.

Gini Casting describes “Gini Girls70 Project” as an unprecedented audition program. Anyone in the world who is familiar with using their phones to watch videos can participate in the online voting process. Contestants can film their audition video, send it to their phone, and upload it onto their social media account. The video will then be updated on the system automatically and become available to be evaluated by experts for potential casting.

“Gini Girls70 Project” will start accepting applications in September and introduce contestants to the public in December.
