gugudan's Kim Sejeong Shows Darker Side Of Her Character In "I Wanna Hear Your Song"

The latest teaser for KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “I Wanna Hear Your Song,” starring gugudan’s Kim Sejeong and Yeon Woo Jin, shows the darker side of the upcoming mystery rom-com.

“I Wanna Hear Your Song” is about a timpanist named Hong Yi Young (played by Kim Sejeong) who loses all memory from the night of a murder. When a suspicious tone-deaf man named Jang Yoon (played by Yeon Woo Jin) enters her life, she begins to search for the truth.

In the new preview images, a stark contrast to many of the previous teasers released for the drama, Kim Sejeong shows a cold, anguished image, as a tortured character who suffers from insomnia.

A source from the production company JP E&M said, “Hong Yi Young has a secret that she can’t reveal to anyone. Please look forward to her multilayered story.”

“I Wanna Hear Your Song” premieres August 5 at 10 p.m. KST, and will be available on Viki. Watch the previously released drama trailer here.
