Kim Young Kwang Confirmed For Upcoming Spy Film

Kim Young Kwang is confirmed for the new film “Mission Possible” (tentative title)!

After becoming known as the “master of romantic comedy” through last year’s film “On Your Wedding Day,” people are highly anticipating his new film “Mission Possible” which will be packed with action scenes.

“Mission Possible” is about Woo Su Han, an owner of a private investigation agency who was once a member of the special forces, and Yoo Da Hee, an agent from China’s Ministry of State Security, who get caught up in a dangerous plan while carrying out an unofficial assignment. Kim Young Kwang will be playing Woo Su Han who used to be a member of the 707th Special Mission Group and is now the boss of a private investigation agency who does whatever is necessary for his client.

As the actor won the title of Best New Actor at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards, people are looking forward to how he will realistically portray everyday life as well as how he will carry out the action scenes for his role as an ex-member of the special forces.

Kim Young Kwang shared, “I’m very excited to try out action, which is a new genre [for me]. Please look forward to it a lot because I will portray a new side of me that is different from the what I have shown through previous projects.

“Mission Possible” is expected to begin filming near the end of August. Currently, Lee Sun Bin is in talks to star alongside Kim Young Kwang as Yoo Da Hee.
