Winners Of 2019 Chunsa Film Art Awards
The 2019 Chunsa Film Art Awards recognized many of the industry’s brightest stars and leading figures!
The ceremony was held on July 18 at COEX Auditorium in Seoul, and the film “Parasite” took home four trophies, including Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
Jo Yeo Jeong’s win for her performance in “Parasite” is the first time that she has won a Best Actress award since her debut in 1997. She said, “I wonder if I deserve this. It’s an honor to receive such a great award.” She added, “The more I act, the more I realize that acting is a job that requires the help of many people,” and she promised to work hard.
Joo Ji Hoon won the Best Actor award for his work in “Dark Figure of Crime.” He said, “As I receive this great award through ‘Dark Figure of Crime,’ I think of the first day that I met our director. I hope that I’ll be able to keep enjoying this together with all of you.”

People’s Choice Most Popular Film Award: “Extreme Job”
