Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae talked about their common interests in a recent “Entertainment Weekly” interview!
The two actors are the stars of the upcoming film “Tune In for Love.” The romance film tells the love story of Mi Soo (played by Kim Go Eun) and Hyun Woo (played by Jung Hae In), two people who meet randomly and continue to cross paths over time. They face the obstacles of reality and poor timing, but nonetheless find their way back to each other.
During the interview, Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In answered questions regarding whether or not they experienced a generational gap while filming the movie, which is set in 1994. Kim Go Eun replied, “I think the feelings one experiences at that age are similar,” explaining that they didn’t have issues with the different time setting. Jung Hae In agreed, saying feelings of love and youth have not changed much since the past.
The two actors also talked about their reunion after briefly working together on “Goblin,” with Jung Hae In sharing that he had wanted to work with Kim Go Eun again on a project. He said, “[Our meeting] was memorable because we promised to meet again even while we were busy filming [for ‘Goblin’].” The interviewer mentioned Kim Go Eun’s past co-stars, including Gong Yoo, Park Hae Jin, Park Bo Gum, and Lee Sun Gyun, but Kim Go Eun chose Jung Hae In as No. 1 out of all the other actors. She jokingly added, “I don’t really remember [the past co-stars]. I think I’ll have to meet them again.” Meanwhile, Jung Hae In also talked about Kim Go Eun’s charms, such as being a good listener and reacting well to his acting while filming.
The two actors also compared their musical tastes, revealing that they both like ballads. Jung Hae In mentioned Paul Kim’s “Every Day, Every Moment,” while Kim Go Eun brought up BTS’s “Butterfly,” spurring a discussion about BTS’s music. They proved to be avid fans of group when Jung Hae In added, “Their songs are so good. ‘Serendipity’ is also good, and they have so many good songs. Even their new album is good,” and Kim Go Eun agreed.
Kim Go Eun also briefly talked about her first crush on a “Church oppa” back in elementary school. However, she mentioned that she was too shy to talk to him in the past. Finally, the two were given a mission to make a cute morning call while wearing matching hats. Jung Hae In got adorably embarrassed, but Kim Go Eun carried out the mission skillfully, charming everyone who was watching.
