July Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 455 girl group members, using big data collected from June 19 to July 20.

MAMAMOO’s Hwasa rose to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 2,085,508, marking a 67.01 percent increase in her score since June. High-ranking phrases in Hwasa’s keyword analysis included “airport fashion,” “revealing,” and “I Live Alone,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “self-assured,” “stand out,” and “sexy.” The idol’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 73.95 percent positive reactions.

Red Velvet’s Irene maintained her position at second place, enjoying a 10.82 percent increase in her score for a total brand reputation index of 2,037,915.

WJSN (Cosmic Girls)’s Bona shot up to third place in the rankings after seeing a staggering 158.60 percent rise in her score since last month. The idol scored a total brand reputation index of 2,007,623 for July.

Red Velvet’s Joy took fourth place for the month with a brand reputation index of 1,957,002, while GFRIEND’s SinB rounded out the top five with a score of 1,950,413 for July.
