Watch: Lee Seung Gi And BTOB’s Yook Sungjae Impress With Duet On “Master In The House”

Lee Seung Gi and BTOB’s Yook Sungjae teamed up to sing a beautiful duet together.

On the July 21 episode of SBS’s “Master in the House,” the cast continued to learn all about the art of trot from Jang Yoon Jung.

After learning some tricks, she suggested that the cast members sing their favorite songs using trot techniques. Lee Seung Gi sang his debut track “Because You’re My Girl.”

He earned applause from everyone, and Jang Yoon Jung expressed pride in her new student.

Yook Sungjae also showed his trot rendition of Im Jae Bum’s “Confession.” Jang Yoon Jung showed enthusiastic reactions throughout the song and praised the singer. After the song ended, she said, “You need to come over [to the trot side].” Yang Se Hyung added, “He’s just good at singing.”

Reflecting on the new singing technique, Yook Sungjae revealed, “My heart hurt so much more than when I sang other songs.”

The cast then went enjoyed an outing with their master, where they met other trot singers including So Yumi, duo Namoo, Young Tak, Yun Hee, and Kim Bbak. They showed off their various skills including impersonations of other singers and trot versions of popular idol songs.

They competed in a game of “One Second Karaoke” where they had to guess the title and sing a song after listening to one second of the introduction. Yook Sungjae correctly guessed Kim Bum Soo’s “I Miss You” and sang the song along with Lee Seung Gi.
