"Produce X 101" Contestants Kim Min Kyu, Lee Se Jin, Koo Jung Mo, Ham Won Jin, And More Pen Letters To Fans
Contestants of Mnet’s “Produce X 101” shared their final thoughts after the conclusion of the survival show.
On July 22, Starship Entertainment trainees Koo Jung Mo and Ham Won Jin posted handwritten letters.
Koo Jung Mo wrote:
To the national producers. Hello, national producer, I’m Starship Entertainment trainee Koo Jung Mo. First, I really thank the national producers who allowed me to make it to the final debut evaluation. While appearing on ‘Produce X 101,’ I experienced many joyful and difficult things. But thanks to the national producers, all of them will remain as happy memories! I know all about how the national producers gave me lots of support for my dream until the end. That gave me a lot of strength and was conveyed to me! Thank you for cheering for me, who’s lacking a lot, until the end. On stage, I was able to gain strength thanks to the national producers’ support despite lacking a lot, and gained ambition to show you a better appearance. It hasn’t been a long time since ‘Produce X 101’ came to an end, but I already miss the national producers so much. The show has now ended, but I was really happy while appearing on ‘Produce X 101.’ I’ll work hard to practice and prepare to meet the national producers, so let’s meet again. I miss you. Ham Won Jin wrote:
To the national producers! Hello, national producer. I’m Starship Entertainment trainee Ham Won Jin. Thank you so much for giving so much love to me who’s lacking a lot! As I stated in the V Live broadcast, ‘Produce X 101’ was such a blessing for me to the point where I wondered if it was alright for me to have this kind of opportunity. I feel so grateful I was able to meet the national producers through this program. When the show began, I was very anxious, thinking, ‘Will I be able to be loved?’ I was so scared when the first episode aired, but I’m receiving so much love now to the point where I’m wondering why I had such worries and am only thinking about working harder to repay you.
I was able to grow a lot after every performance. Thanks to the national producers, I was able to stand on those kinds of stages so I just feel really grateful. I feel so grateful and love you so much to the point where I don’t know if my grateful and loving feelings can all be conveyed in this letter. The older friends I’m grateful for, great same-age friends, and cute younger friends, we always cheered each other up and you gave me strength! The staff members who worked all night with concerns about the show and stages. Teachers Jae Seung, Young Joon, Yoon Jung, Yoo Mi, Seok Hoon, Cheetah, and Joohoney who helped me grow and gave me encouragement! National producer representative Lee Dong Wook who sincerely loved and cherished all of the trainees with the heart of a father! And more than anything, our lovely national producers who allowed the current Ham Won Jin to exist! It’s a huge honor to just have met so many people I’m grateful for!
I’ll work that much harder and try my best to see you soon! Thank you for giving me lots of strength and love and appearing in my life. If there’s a day when I feel tired while practicing, I’ll think of the national producers who are waiting for me and get back up! I love you always! Hello national producers! It’s Jellyfish Entertainment’s Kim Min Kyu. I don’t know where to begin. Although I was unable to debut, I was gifted precious moments while appearing on the show. I was happy every single day. More than anyone, I enjoyed and loved being on stage. I thank the national producers so much for allowing me to have this amazing time. And although I was unable to join the precious people I met and Hyeong Jun, I hope they’ll show good appearances in X1 and I hope we can stand on stage together at the top. Jin Hyuk who is Min Kyu’s No. 1 fan, and forever ‘It’s one’ Won Jin. Although the four of us can’t be together, let’s keep our promise of going on a trip after achieving our dreams. Good luck to the four of us in the ‘forever together room.’ Min Kyu, who was a sprout, was able to grow thanks to the love and affection from the national producers. Choi Jun Seong posted:
Hello. This is Jellyfish Entertainment trainee Choi Jun Seong. First, I want to say thank you to those who gave me interest and support even though it was a short amount of time. Thank you so much. Honestly, there were many regretful and upsetting things that happened while appearing on ‘Produce X 101,’ but it was interesting and fun meeting people who cheered hard for me second to my family. I have to improve more, but thank you so much for liking my voice and tone. I didn’t have confidence about my voice and tone, but I was able to feel proud about my singing thanks to many people who liked and praised me. (To be honest, I was unable to choose the vocal position during the position evaluation due to a cold.) I feel the happiest when I’m singing. I want to share this happiness with many people after debuting as an idol. I’ll continue to work hard, so please remember Choi Jun Seong and wait for me! Thank you and I love you national producers who gave me strength and support until now.
iME Korea trainee Lee Se Jin also penned a letter to his fans. He wrote:
Hello it’s iME Korea’s Lee Se Jin. It feels like yesterday when I was wearing a long padding coat and could see my breath on my way to practice, but it’s already the summer where it’s too hot even with just a t-shirt. The national producers were beside me while two seasons passed. At the first ranking ceremony, I said that I would become a star that could comfort all of you, but the path I had taken until now was able to shine because I was with all of you.
National producers who allowed me to shine, all of you are my universe. Thank you so much. National producers who must’ve been nervous every day, I hope that you only had joy-filled days, but I know all too well you had some difficult days as well. You had a tough time, right? I hope that this letter will comfort all of you. I feel sorry that I’ve been receiving so much, but I know that the best way I can repay you is to quickly show you a good appearance, so I’ll work hard to do so. I love you, everyone. Thank you.
