Enlisted Idols From SHINee, EXO, INFINITE, BTOB, 2AM, And More Record Army Song Together
According to a SpoTV News report on July 25, several stars have teamed up to record an army song while they’re carrying out their mandatory military service!
The report states that the lineup of idols and actors taking part includes SHINee’s Onew and Key, EXO’s Xiumin, 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Jeong Jinwoon, Wanna One’s Yoon Ji Sung, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, BTOB’s Changsub, actor Kim Min Suk, and Lee Jae Kyoon. It’s reported that they recently wrapped up recording on the song.
A source told SpoTV News that rather than the stiff and masculine army songs that people usually know, this is a new kind of army song that will be easy to sing along to and promotes the image of a “friendly military.” The source stated, “I’ve heard that the recording went well because celebrity military officers with excellent skills took part.”
On July 24, singer Hong Seokmin shared a photo of the idols in a recording booth. “Thank you for working hard,” he wrote in the caption. “It must have been annoying to receive direction from me, haha. Anyway, I hope you’ll finish your military life in good health.” Hong Seokmin included the names of the stars listed above in his hashtags, and on another line wrote “#And #ChaHakYeon #LimSeungKyun.” Cha Hak Yeon is the name of VIXX’s N, who is also currently serving in the military.
The song will reportedly be released in August.
