On July 26, it was revealed that U.S. singer Ariana Grande had followed the youngest member of Red Velvet on Instagram. Currently, Ariana Grande follows a total of 819 accounts, with Yeri being the first K-pop idol who is followed by the singer.

Red Velvet’s Yeri recently shared that she is a fan of Ariana Grande in an interview with Google Play. Addressed to the singer, she said, “I really hope I can meet you once before I die. I’ve been supporting you since I was in middle school. Please notice me.”
