ITZY is back!

At midnight on July 29, ITZY released the music video for their new song “ICY.” This is their first comeback since making their debut with “DALLA DALLA” five months ago in February.

“ICY” is a summer song and the first that JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin Young wrote for the girl group. With Park Jin Young helming the project as the main composer and lyricist, he was joined by producer and rapper Penomeco, as well as talented composers such as Cazzi Opeia who created TWICE’s “Dance The Night Away,” Ellen Berg who worked on Red Velvet’s “Peekaboo,” Daniel Caesar and Ludwig Lindell who created “Red Flavor,” and Lauren Dyson, Ashley Alisha, and Cameron Neilson who worked on BTS’s “I’m Fine” and “Home.”

The new song accentuates ITZY’s girl crush charms as they may appear cool on the outside but are full of energy and excitement.
