BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" Becomes 1st Ever K-Pop Group MV To Hit 900 Million Views

BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” MV is one milestone closer to a billion views, and it’s achieved it in record time!

After its release on June 15, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” MV reached 900 million views on YouTube by 9:33 p.m. KST on July 30.

This means the music video hit the milestone in only one year, one month, 15 days, three hours, and 33 minutes.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the first music video by a K-pop group to reach 900 million views, and the only other Korean MVs that have done so are singer PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman.”
