gugudan's Kim Sejeong, Yeon Woo Jin, And More Share Reasons To Watch "I Wanna Hear Your Song"

The main cast of the upcoming KBS 2TV drama “I Wanna Hear Your Song” has shared their reasons why you should tune in to the drama!

“I Wanna Hear Your Song,” starring gugudan’s Kim Sejeong, Yeon Woo Jin, Song Jae Rim, and T-ara’s Jiyeon, is a mystery rom-com about a timpanist who loses all of her memory from the night of a murder. When she meets a suspicious tone-deaf pianist, she begins to search for the truth of that night.

Yeon Woo Jin, who plays the mystery pianist Jang Yoon, said, “On the other side of the hidden truth is the conflict and struggles of youth. The emotions between the different characters are tightly wound, and along with the music, the portrayal of everything will be very rhythmic.”

Kim Sejeong plays the timpanist Hong Yi Young, who has no memory from the night of a murder. She said, “It’ll be fun to follow the building romance and the unraveling mystery surrounding the 27-year-old who dreams of becoming a timpanist.”

Song Jae Rim, who plays the conductor Nam Joo Wan, picked as his reason to watch the psychological games between a character who wants to uncover the past and another who wants to keep it hidden.

In the role of the genius violinist Ha Eun Joo is Jiyeon, who said, “I think the thing to watch for is the actors’ 200 percent immersion in their characters as well as a tight, fast-moving story.”

“I Wanna Hear Your Song” premieres August 5 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki with English subtitles.
