NU'EST Reassures Fans About Their Safety Following Earthquake In Indonesia
After a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck off Indonesia’s coast on August 2, NU’EST has posted a statement to reassure fans about their safety.
The group is currently in Indonesia for their “Segno” tour stop in Jakarta on August 3.
Shortly after midnight KST on August 3, NU’EST’s fan cafe shared the following statement in Korean and English:
Hello,
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
A magnitude 6.9 earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), has occurred yesterday (August 2nd) off the coast of the Indonesian island of Java.
We would like to let you know that all artists and staff are currently located in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, an area far away from the directly impacted zone, and are all safe.
For all remaining schedules, we will try our best to make sure the safety of our artists and staff is kept as our top priority.
