Fin.K.L Compares Standards For Idols 20 Years Ago And Now
Fin.K.L reminisced about their past as idol members on the latest episode of JTBC’s “Camping Club”!
During the August 4 episode of the girl group’s reality show, Lee Hyori commented, “If they told us to promote like we did in the past, would you? I think being a celebrity these days is hard. It’s now the generation of videos.”
Lee Jin mentioned fancams and MR [Music Recorded] clips, saying, “There are things like individual fancams now.” Lee Hyori answered, “There are MR performance videos too. We didn’t have that in our time. If that were us, we would’ve already been finished.” Sung Yuri had everyone laughing when she joked, “We were born at the right time.”
Lee Hyori continued, “We didn’t even train in our time.” Ock Joo Hyun added, “We received training to find the cameras at music shows. I was able to find the cameras without the training, scarily enough.” Sung Yuri remarked, “Lee Jin unni and I didn’t even know what number the camera was. We just performed.”
