Lee Do Hyun In Talks To Play Leading Role In "Mr. Sunshine" PD Lee Eung Bok's New Drama
Lee Do Hyun, who currently appears in tvN’s “Hotel Del Luna,” may be leading a new drama in the future!
On August 7, it was reported that the actor had been tapped to appear in producing director (PD) Lee Eung Bok’s upcoming drama “Sweet Home” (tentative title). His agency Yuehua Entertainment responded and stated, “It’s true that he has received an offer for the new tvN drama ‘Sweet Home’ and he is currently looking over it.”
“Sweet Home” is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and tells the story of a high school student who isolates himself from the world because of the pain he has endured from school violence. He loses his family and moves to a new apartment, where strange and shocking things occur. The drama is highly anticipated as the next project helmed by PD Lee Eung Bok, who has directed works like “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
Lee Do Hyun made his debut in 2017 through tvN’s “Prison Playbook” and has since gone on to appear in SBS’s “30 but 17” and JTBC’s “Clean With Passion For Now.” He currently appears in “Hotel Del Luna” as Go Chung Myung.
