ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo Makes A Life-Changing Decision In "Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung"

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” has revealed new stills of ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Shin Se Kyung!

MBC’s “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” is about the romance that blossoms between an aspiring palace historian named Goo Hae Ryung (played by Shin Se Kyung) and a lonely prince named Lee Rim (played by ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo).

In the previous episodes, Goo Hae Ryung and Yi Rim witnessed the poor living conditions of the people living in Pyongan. They were able to bring medical supplies for those still suffering from the smallpox epidemic.

In the stills, Yi Rim wears a determined expression on his face after he implements the “Smallpox Law” in front of his subjects.

Another image shows Mo Hwa (played by Jeon Ik Ryeong), a doctor, preparing to inject Yi Rim with a smallpox vaccine. He volunteers to test the vaccine in order to help the subjects of Pyongan and holds out his arm as a royal official looks over at him worriedly.

Mo Hwa later sits next to Goo Hae Ryung, who covers her tear-streaked face with her hand, to comfort her as Goo Hae Ryung witnesses Yi Rim’s selfless deeds.

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:55 p.m. KST.
