Ryu Jun Yeol's New Film "The Battle: Roar To Victory" Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers In Just 4 Days
Ryu Jun Yeol’s new film “The Battle: Roar to Victory” is a box office hit!
On the morning of August 10, just three days after its premiere on August 7, the new historical war film was confirmed to have officially surpassed 1 million moviegoers.
According to the Korean Film Council, “The Battle: Roar to Victory” had reached a total of 1,059,831 moviegoers as of midnight KST on August 10, putting it on par with hit films “The Attorney” and “Ode to My Father.”
“The Battle: Roar to Victory” is a war movie based on the 1920 Battle of Bongodong, a confrontation between Korean independence fighters and Japanese forces that took place during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Ryu Jun Yeol stars in the film as Lee Jang Ha, a young independence militia leader who is a skilled sniper, while Yoo Hae Jin stars as Hwang Hae Chul, a former bandit who has joined the fight for freedom.
