Jo Jung Suk, YoonA, And More Thank Fans As Film "E.X.I.T" Surpasses 5 Million Moviegoers
The action-comedy film “E.X.I.T” continues to reign over the Korean box office this summer!
On August 10, the film hit 5 million moviegoers in just 11 days since its premiere on July 31. The film also reached the 1 million mark on August 2, which is faster than the records of other popular films such as “Extreme Job,” “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds,” and more.
To celebrate the achievement, the cast and director wrote handwritten messages of gratitude and congratulations. YoonA wrote, “Thanks to [viewers’] love that has no exit, ‘E.X.I.T’ was able to surpass 5 million moviegoers!” Jo Jung Suk also shared, “The 5 million moviegoers of ‘E.X.I.T,’ thank you so so much!”
Other cast members also said, “Thank you for the 5 million record,” “Your love has become 5 million! We’ll go further than that. Thank you,” “‘E.X.I.T’ surpassed 5 million! This is so surprising,” and more.
“E.X.I.T” tells the story of an unemployed man (Jo Jung Suk) and his college junior (YoonA) who use the skills they learned in their college rock climbing club to escape a city full of toxic gas.
