Kim Young Kwang In Talks For Korean Remake Of Hollywood Film "50 First Dates"
Kim Young Kwang may be starring in a Korean remake of the 2004 Hollywood romantic comedy film “50 First Dates”!
On August 14, Ilgan Sports reported that Kim Young Kwang had been offered a role in the movie. A source from his agency Wide-S Company relayed to news outlet MBN, “The remake of the Hollywood movie ’50 First Dates’ is one of the projects he was offered. Nothing has been confirmed as of now.”
According to an industry source, Kim Young Kwang was offered the male lead role, which was played by Adam Sandler in the original film.
“50 First Dates” tells the story of a playboy and a woman with short-term memory loss who newly fall in love with each other everyday. The remake will be directed by Im Ji Hoon and is reportedly set to begin filming in the second half of 2020.
