U-KISS's Jun And Lee Jong Hyuk Confirm Casting In Upcoming Spy Drama
Two more cast members have been confirmed for the upcoming SBS drama “Good Casting” (literal title).
Formerly known as “Miss Casting,” the drama is an action comedy that tells the story of former high-profile female agents in the National Intelligence Service who are now pencil-pushers at desk jobs. In order to find the truth behind a case of corruption and trade secret leaks at a major company, the women go undercover as spies once again.
Choi Kang Hee was the first actress to join the cast, followed by Yoo In Young and Kim Ji Young. Lee Sang Yeob was also reported to be in talks to star as a privileged CEO with a past connection to Choi Kang Hee’s character.
U-KISS’s Jun (Lee Jun Young) has joined the cast in the role of Kang Woo Won, a celebrity who went from being a perpetual rising star to a bona fide top star after his drama becomes wildly popular. His character will have a connection to Yoo In Young’s character.
Jun is currently appearing in the OCN drama “Mr. Temporary” and appeared in “Goodbye to Goodbye” last year.
Lee Jong Hyuk has been cast as Dong Kwan Soo, the team leader of the industry security team at the National Intelligence Service. He has an upright personality, is one of the longest-serving team leaders at the NIS, and is put in charge of the three female spies played by Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Young, and Kim Ji Young.
Lee Jong Hyuk is a versatile actor who has appeared in dramas, films, musicals, and variety shows. He mostly recently appeared in “Spring Turns to Spring,” “He Is Psychometric,” and “Yeonnamdong 539.”
“Good Casting” will be directed by Choi Young Hoon and is expected to air sometime in November.
