YoonA And Jo Jung Suk's Film 'E.X.I.T' Surpasses 7 Million Moviegoers At Impressive Speed

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Jo Jung Suk’s new movie continues its impressive run at the box office!

On the morning of August 17 KST, CJ Entertainment announced that “E.X.I.T” had officially surpassed 7 million moviegoers. The film was originally released on July 31, meaning that it took the movie just 18 days to reach the milestone.

To commemorate the film’s latest achievement, director Lee Sang Geun joined cast members YoonA, Jo Jung Suk, Park In Hwan, Kim Ji Young, Bae Yoo Ram, and Yoo Soo Bin for a couple of celebratory photos. The group posed in front of a banner reading “Thank you to the 7 million moveigoers!”

“E.X.I.T” is an action film that follows an unemployed man named Yong Nam (played by Jo Jung Suk) and Eui Joo, a fellow member of his college rock climbing club (played by YoonA), as they attempt to escape a city poisoned by a mysterious toxic gas. After premiering at No. 1 at the Korean box office on opening day, the movie took just three days to hit 1 million moviegoers, four days to hit 2 million, six days to hit 3 million, eight days to hit 4 million, 11 days to hit 5 million, and 14 days to hit 6 million.
