Ku Hye Sun Reportedly Postponing Release Of Next Essay

Actress Ku Hye Sun will reportedly be delaying the release of her upcoming essay.

Exclusive reporting by TV Report on August 22 claimed that Ku Hye Sun was planning to release an essay on raising dogs and cats as pets this month, but recently made the decision to delay the release date. The book was actually mentioned during interviews for her May essay “Tears are Shaped like Hearts” (literal title). At the time, when asked if Ahn Jae Hyun would be making an appearance in the essay, Ku Hye Sun responded, “Probably a little bit.”

A source who is said to have spoken with TV Report stated, “There’s a major holiday [Chuseok] coming up and she still needs to go through photos that will be included in the essay. With recent personal events, it felt right to delay the release so from what I know, there have been discussions on the scheduling issue.”

The source also mentioned that the parts involving Ahn Jae Hyun will most likely be taken out. They’re quoted to have said, “It’s an essay about Ku Hye Sun’s love for animals, so the original version doesn’t have that many parts that talk about Ahn Jae Hyun to begin with,” and cautiously added, “I’m sure the final copy won’t include his parts.”

Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun are currently in the middle of a back-and-forth regarding their marriage and divorce. Ku Hye Sun first shared that her husband wished to divorce her and released text messages exchanged between the two, leading to multiple statements being released from both sides. Most recently, it was announced that cosmetics brand MERBLISS will be removing their advertisements with Ahn Jae Hyun.
