Watch: Super Junior's Kim Heechul Reveals His Unique Home + Fanboys Over ITZY On "My Ugly Duckling"

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul revealed his home and daily life on SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling”!

On the August 25 episode of the reality show, the panel of celebrity moms (including Kim Heechul’s) watched from the studio as a day in the life of the Super Junior member played out onscreen.

The clip began by showing Kim Heechul’s pristine home, which was all white except for the red-colored furniture.

Shin Dong Yup remarked in surprise, “Everything is completely white!” before jokingly adding, “It does look a bit like a hospital.” He then recalled that Kim Heechul’s previous home had been entirely black, even the ceilings.

Seo Jang Hoon commented, “[Kim Heechul] is really clean. He doesn’t really like having people over at his house, so I was surprised when he said he was going to do this [show].” Shin Dong Yup added, “Our staff members have to go in and install cameras. It’s not easy for Kim Heechul’s personality.”

Kim Heechul began his morning playing fetch with his dog Kibok and watching TV. He enthusiastically watched the Chinese drama “Heavenly Sword and Dragon-Slaying Sabre” on TV while lying on his sofa. As he had watched the series repeatedly, he knew every scene in the drama by heart, and his mom expressed her frustration as she watched him binge-watch the episodes yet again.

After more than three hours of watching the drama, Kim Heechul got up from the couch to receive his food delivery. Instead of heading to the table, however, Kim Heechul took his food to his computer room.

The Super Junior member multitasked by eating and playing games at the same time, and the moms in the studio were saddened by watching his food get cold as he concentrated on the game. Seo Jang Hoon commented, “Out of everyone I know, he lives the most like a celebrity,” and Kim Heechul’s mom asked, “Is this living like a celebrity?” Seo Jang Hoon said, “This 37-year-old does everything that a 17-year-old would do,” and Kim Heechul’s mom recalled, “[When he was in school], he didn’t even study, but he said he liked exam times the best because he could play games after school ended early.”

Kim Heechul got rid of his food after eating only two bites, and his mom was upset to see him not eating his meals properly.

The singer also expressed his love for ITZY while chatting with his friends as they played computer games together. He told them, “I can only play until 4 o’clock today. I have to watch ITZY’s comeback stage on ‘Inkigayo.'”

However, Kim Heechul lost track of time while playing and ended up missing the girl group’s performance.
