CIX Signs With Warner Music Japan To Kick-Start Japanese Promotions
Rookie boy group CIX has joined forces with Warner Music Japan.
On August 26, it was announced that C9 Entertainment and Warner Music Japan signed a contract for CIX’s Japanese promotions.
Major label Warner Music Japan currently manages the promotions for many of Korea’s top girl groups in Japan. It’s reported that the label saw CIX’s potential for growth soon after their debut and quickly signed them. Warner Music Japan plans to give its full support so CIX can become a top boy group in Japan.
In order to do so, Warner Music Japan has created a dedicated team for CIX’s Japanese promotions that is busily preparing for activities ahead of the group’s official Japanese debut, including a pre-debut album release, Japanese fan club, and showcase.
After they finished their five weeks of debut promotions in Korea, the boy group will now begin overseas events including an omnibus performance in Vietnam on August 30, a media showcase in Indonesia on October 4, an omnibus performance in Germany on October 25, a press conference showcase in Thailand on November 3, and more.
A source from C9 Entertainment stated, “Please continue to have interest in CIX’s promotions that will be taking place all over the world from here on out.”
CIX is a five-member group that made their debut in July with “Movie Star.”
