MYTEEN's Chunjin Talks About Disbandment + Announces Retirement
Following the announcement of MYTEEN’s disbandment, Chunjin has spoken up through his social media.
He wrote, “When I think about the past moments and memories with You”th during the past three years, I feel regret at not doing my best even more and upset that we cannot spend more time together.”
Regarding the disbandment, Chunjin said, “After hearing about the sudden disbandment news I did not know what to do. I didn’t want to believe it, so I denied reality and thought of it as a dream.”
“I worried a lot about how I should live now after running forward in my teens and 20s only to have the results disappear so easily. I thought about trying again but I couldn’t gather confidence and courage, so I am letting go of my dream as a singer,” he confessed.
Chunjin further shared, “I plan on walking the path of life as the person Kim Sang Jin. I want to relay my thanks and apologies to You”th who supported MYTEEN’s Chunjin.”
Previously, The Music Works announced MYTEEN’s disbandment on August 21.
MYTEEN debuted as a seven-member group in July 2017. Lee Tae Vin left the group in order to focus on acting last December. Kim Kookheon and Song Yu Vin recently debuted as a duo with “Blurry” after appearing on Mnet’s “Produce X 101.”
