"The Hobbit" Actor Richard Armitage Grabs Meal With Song Joong Ki + Shares Love For Korean Dish
British actor Richard Armitage recently had a meal with Song Joong Ki!
On August 27, Richard Armitage, who played Thorin Oakenshield in “The Hobbit,” posted a photo of himself eating naengmyeon (cold noodles) with Song Joong Ki on his personal Instagram. The photo includes a caption that says, “Song Joong-ki introduced me to 냉면; 冷麵 it’s now my new favorite dish.” German actress Mina Tander commented on the post, saying that it’s her favorite dish as well.
Richard Armitage also posted a photo of naengmyeon with the caption, “Apparently there is a Korean pop song…about this bowl of noodles!!!” appearing to refer to the Korean song “Naengmyeon” by Jessica and Park Myung Soo.
According to a report by JoongAng Ilbo, the two actors are currently filming for the movie “Lightning Ship” (tentative title), directed by Jo Sung Hee.
Song Joong Ki is also in talks to star in a new thriller film, while Part 3 of his upcoming drama “Arthdal Chronicles” is set to premiere in September.
