Ku Hye Sun Says That She Will Not Be Attending Scheduled Film Event Due To Hospitalization

Ku Hye Sun will not be attending the Seoul International Extreme Short Image and Film Festival.

On August 30, she shared on Instagram, “I have had polyps removed and am currently hospitalized (because I still have other tests that need to be done), so I will not be attending the film festival. I’m sorry. I will cheer on the Seoul International Extreme Short Image and Film Festival.”

Ku Hye Sun’s short film, “Mystery Pink,” had been selected as one of the films in the domestic competition at the festival. The short film stars Seo Hyun Jin and Yang Dong Geun and explores the mysterious and destructive force known as love and how it is expressed in space and time.

This is the 11th annual Seoul International Extreme Short Image and Film Festival. It opens on September 3 and runs until September 8.

Ku Hye Sun made headlines earlier this month when she revealed that she and her husband Ahn Jae Hyun were at odds over the issue of divorce. Both sides, as well as their shared agency, have made different claims in official statements and social media posts.
