August Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from July 29 to August 30.
Notably, girl groups dominated this month’s rankings—with the sole exception of BTS, who took first place on the list, girl groups swept the top 11 spots for August.
BTS maintained their spot at the top of the rankings this month with a total brand reputation index of 16,312,034. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “love,” “effort,” and “thankful.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 70.44 percent positive reactions.
TWICE rose to second place this month with a brand reputation index of 7,859,250, while Red Velvet came in third with an index of 6,569,438.
ITZY held onto fourth place for the second consecutive month, scoring a brand reputation index of 6,237,334 for August, and BLACKPINK rounded out the top five with a total index of 5,803,203.
