f(x)'s Amber Announces Departure From SM Entertainment

On September 1, f(x)’s Amber announced through social media that her contract with SM Entertainment has come to an end.

She said in a handwritten message, “Hey everyone, I would like to announce my contract with SM Entertainment has ended today, and I have decided to part ways with the company. From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank everyone who believed in me and have been patient with me all these years. I can’t wait to show you what’s in store in this next chapter of my career.
