Kang Ha Neul Talks About Being Gong Hyo Jin's Fan + Working With Her For Upcoming Drama

Gong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul talked about their chemistry in the new drama “When the Camellia Blooms” (literal title).

“When the Camellia Blooms” is a romantic comedy that will tell the stories of three couples in different stages of love. Dong Baek (played by Gong Hyo Jin) and Yong Shik (played by Kang Ha Neul) believe anything is possible with love, while people around them scoff at their belief in the power of love.

Gong Hyo Jin commented, “Yong Shik is an extremely cute character. From the first time I read the script, I thought Kang Ha Neul was perfect for the role.” She added, “Our acting style is similar, so I’m filming very comfortably. I’m glad I met a lead actor who is good at acting in an ordinary setting but also has charisma and is very reliable.”

Kang Ha Neul shyly confessed to being Gong Hyo Jin’s fan and shared, “I’ve revealed my feelings as a fan to Gong Hyo Jin, and I’m sharing them again. Gong Hyo Jin always treats me like I’m Yong Shik, so I’m trying to find the best comfortable way to work together so that both of us won’t feel pressured. When I look back, later on, I think these times will be like a dream.”
