Gong Seung Yeon Reveals Why She Chose To Star In "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency"
New stills of Gong Seung Yeon have been released for the new drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency”!
The upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama from JTBC about three flower boy matchmakers (Kim Min Jae, Park Ji Hoon, and Byun Woo Seok), who receive a request from the king (Seo Ji Hoon) to transform his first love, a lowly woman named Gae Ddong (Gong Seung Yeon), into a noblewoman.
About her decision to join the drama, Gong Seung Yeon explained, “I took on the challenge because I thought I could grow as a person as much as Gae Ddong grows in the drama.”
She revealed about the character, “Ddong is a character who is overflowing with cute and lovable charms. At first, I felt pressure about whether I would be able to pull off [the character] well, but I naturally became drawn to Gae Ddong’s charms.”
Gong Seung Yeon shared, “When I am on set, I always try to live as Gae Ddong. Now I unconsciously speak and act like Gae Ddong, and [my hard work] feels worth it as I think I am gradually resembling my character more.”
She concluded, “Through this drama, I want to express that of faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is love.”
“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” is set to premiere on September 16 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
