Ha Sung Woon Makes Surprise Call To BTS's Jimin, Talks About Attending High School With Yoo Seung Ho, And More

Ha Sung Woon recently talked about being friends with various celebrities on Naver NOW’s “Late Night Idol”!

During the September 2 broadcast of the audio show, Ha Sung Woon was tasked with several missions.

One listener asked Ha Sung Woon to call a friend and have them use the phrase “I love you” within a minute of their conversation. The singer agreed and called BTS’s Jimin to carry out his mission. When Ha Sung Woon told Jimin, “I love you,” Jimin immediately replied, “I love you!”

Overjoyed at completing his mission, Ha Sung Woon continued to talk about Jimin, saying, “Jimin is one of the friends and [industry] seniors I love and care for the most. Whether it’s on shows or in real life, he’s always so earnest, warmhearted, and kind. He’s the best. He’s my friend but I’ve learned a lot from him. I’m grateful.”

Both idols are part of the “Friendship Parka” squad, which also includes SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Kai, HOTSHOT’s Timoteo, and VIXX’s Ravi.

Ha Sung Woon later said, “During an interview for a magazine, [Kim] Jae Hwan mentioned that I had given up on trying to sing ‘Begin Again’ because it’s so high and difficult.” He then surprised fans as he sang a snippet of the track.

The singer also talked about how he had attended the same high school as Yoo Seung Ho, who also originally hails from Ilsan. He commented, “I went up to Yoo Seung Ho hyung when we weren’t close at all and abruptly told him, ‘I’m going to become a singer,’ so he responded by smiling and saying, ‘Fighting!’ Yoo Seung Ho hyung probably doesn’t remember that, but it’s a really funny and proud memory for me.”
