I.O.I Confirmed To Be Delaying Comeback To December
Fans of I.O.I will have to wait a little longer to see them together again!
On September 6, it was reported that I.O.I would be pushing back their upcoming comeback from October to December. Along with the date change, it was speculated that the comeback could involve all 11 members, not the nine that were confirmed for October.
A source from I.O.I stated, “The group will be changing their return date to December in order to ensure their album is of the highest quality. We are currently still discussing the exact date.”
I.O.I was preparing to make a comeback as a nine-member group in October, and it was announced that Jeon Somi and WJSN’s Yoo Yeonjung would not be able to join them. The project group first made their debut through Mnet’s “Produce 101” and was active until January 2017. Since then, the members have been working on their separate activities, until it was announced this July by Studio Blu that I.O.I would be making a comeback.
