DAY6 Teases Potential Collab With 5 Seconds Of Summer

A collaboration between DAY6 and 5 Seconds of Summer may be in the works!

Earlier this summer, 5 Seconds of Summer’s Michael Clifford revealed that he was a fan of DAY6 while talking about the possibility of collaborating with Korean artists. He also praised their music during the band’s recent appearance on MBC’s “Welcome, First Time in Korea?”

Later, when DAY6’s Jae returned the love on Twitter by writing, “Thanks for the shoutout,” Luke Hemmings responded with a couple of cute emojis.

When asked about the exchange in a newly published interview with American magazine Alternative Press, DAY6 shared that they are definitely interested in collaborating with the Australian band.

In response to a question about artists they hope to collaborate with in the future, Young K replied, “Definitely, because you mentioned them, of course 5 Seconds of Summer.”

Jae then chimed in by revealing, “And for 5SOS, we have a song that we really wanted to do with them, but we don’t know what’s gonna happen with that. Just putting that out there.”
