"Doctor John" Finale Beats Out "Arthdal Chronicles" Part 3 Premiere To Take No. 1 In Time Slot
SBS’s “Doctor John” ended at the top of its time slot last night!
According to Nielsen Korea, the September 7 finale of Ji Sung and Lee Se Young’s popular medical drama achieved the highest viewership ratings in its time slot across all channels. The final broadcast of “Doctor John” scored average ratings of 6.7 percent and 10.2 percent nationwide, peaking at 12.8 percent towards the end of the show.
Meanwhile, Part 3 of tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles” premiered to an average rating of 6.1 percent and a peak of 6.8 percent, marking a slight decrease in its viewership since the finale of Part 2 (which scored an average rating of 6.8 percent). The Part 3 premiere also fell short of the ratings for the Part 1 premiere, which scored an average of 6.7 percent.
KBS 2TV’s “Mother of Mine” remained the overall most-watched weekend drama of the night, scoring average ratings of 28.4 percent and 32.3 percent nationwide. MBC’s “Golden Garden” enjoyed a rise in its viewership for average ratings of 5.0 percent, 8.3 percent, 8.5 percent, and 9.5 percent for its four parts.
Finally, OCN’s “Strangers from Hell” scored an average rating of 3.2 percent for its latest episode, while JTBC’s “Melo Is My Nature” scored an average rating of 1.9 percent for the night.
