Watch: Kang Ha Neul Responds Sweetly To Yoo In Na's Request To Collaborate On Audiobook

On the September 8 episode of MBC’s “Funding Together,” Kang Ha Neul received Yoo In Na’s request to collaborate on an audiobook.

“Funding Together” is a variety program in which celebrities come up with ideas that may be difficult to achieve alone, but are made possible with the help of viewers and crowdfunding.

During the episode, Yoo In Na sought out a bookstore that reportedly opened only at night. The manager told her, “We didn’t originally open only at night. The place next to us was under construction, so it ended up happening this way.”

The manager added, “There is no change [in our sales]. We don’t get a lot of customers either way.”

One of the events at the bookstore was to write a “confession letter,” which would be delivered to the recipient along with the gift of a book. Yoo In Na wrote a letter herself, though she did not know to whom it would be addressed. Later it was revealed that the recipient of Yoo In Na’s letter was actor Kang Ha Neul.

Kang Ha Neul, who didn’t know who the letter was from either, said, “My heart is beating faster somehow.” Yoo In Na, watching the recording of him reading the letter, also showed embarrassment and said, “I can’t do this.”

Kang Ha Neul showed his trademark sweet smile as he read the letter through, and when he discovered it was from Yoo In Na, he said respectfully to the camera, “Hello, Yoo In Na sunbaenim.” In the letter, Yoo In Na expressed her excitement at meeting her mystery partner and shared her love for books and her desire to work with someone to bring that love to a wider audience.”

At the end, Kang Ha Neul promised to work hard, confirming their partnership, and said to the camera, “You were curious about your first audiobook partner, right? It’s me, Kang Ha Neul. Thank you for the book and I will read it well.”
