'The Return Of Superman' Soars As It Surpasses 16 Percent In Ratings For First Time Since 2015

KBS’s “The Return of Superman” is seeing a resurgence, and has passed a meaningful milestone for the first time in four years!

According to data released by Nielsen Korea, the most recent episode of “The Return of Superman” that aired on September 8 scored nationwide viewership ratings of 11.5 percent and 16 percent across its two parts. Not only did it maintain its position as the most-watched show of its time slot, but it has reached the 16 percent ratings mark for the first time since 2015, reflecting a second golden era for the show.

In the same time slot, MBC’s “Funding Together” scored ratings of 3 percent and 2.8 percent across its two parts while SBS’s “Master in the House” came in at 5.6 percent and 6.6 percent.

The highest real-time ratings came during the scene where William and Bentley were enjoying a delicious meal together. Sam Hammington decided to take the brothers out for ribs, and Bentley seemed to create the new menu “ribs and rice cake” and was smart enough to use a fan to cool down his ribs. The scene of Bentley bursting out into laughter after a delicious meal had ratings peaking at 18.6 percent for the episode.
