Kim Dong Hee Confirmed To Join Park Seo Joon In Upcoming Drama
Actor Kim Dong Hee (“SKY Castle“) has confirmed for the upcoming JTBC drama “Itaewon Class” (literal title), starring Park Seo Joon, Kim Da Mi, Yoo Jae Myung, and Kwon Nara.
“Itaewon Class” is based on a popular Daum webtoon of the same name about a group of stubborn, brave young people who rise up in an unfair world and start a food business in Itaewon.
Kim Dong Hee has taken on the role of Jang Geun Soo, the second song of Jang Dae Hee (played by Yoo Jae Myung). He grew up abused by his step-brother Jang Geun Won, but his parents never intervened. He leaves home at the age of 17 and meets Park Sae Roy (Park Seo Joon), who teaches him what a real adult is, but as he finds himself falling for Jo Yi Seo (Kim Da Mi), he finds himself in opposition with Park Sae Roy.
Kim Dong Hee said, “I’m happy to be joining ‘Itaewon Class,’ which is a well-fleshed-out, popular work. I was a fan of the webtoon and wanted to appear in an adaptation, so it’s an honor to have this opportunity. I’ll do my best.”
Meanwhile, Kim Dong Hee is also set to play the lead in the upcoming Netflix original “Human Lessons” (literal title).
