Choi Min Soo And Prosecution Appeal Sentence In Actor's Retaliatory Driving Case

Both prosecution and Choi Min Soo have appealed the court ruling in the actor’s retaliatory driving case.

On September 5, Choi Min Soo received a prison sentence of six months suspended for two years of probation on charges of retaliatory driving. This means that if he commits an offense during the two-year probation period, he will serve out a prison sentence of six months.

The sentence was given despite the actor’s denial of the charges during his first trial. After receiving his sentence, Choi Min Soo stated that while he does not agree with the sentence he was given, he had little intention to file an appeal.

However, on September 11, the prosecution appealed the court’s ruling. On the next day, the actor also filed an appeal to the court. As a result, a second trial will be held to determine whether or not the sentence was reasonable.
