Lee Jong Hyuk To Make US Debut Through "Treadstone" Series Alongside Han Hyo Joo
Lee Jong Hyuk will be appearing in his first-ever U.S. production in the upcoming series “Treadstone,” where he will join Han Hyo Joo!
It was recently confirmed that Lee Jong Hyuk had been cast for the series, and he has wrapped up filming in overseas locations such as Budapest, Hungary. He is expected to play a major role in the series, bringing more tension to the story with his charisma.
“Treadstone” is a spin-off series of the popular “Bourne” film franchise, and is also the name of the secret organization under the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that appears in the films. The project is helmed by “Heroes” writer Tim Kring and “Bourne” series producer Ben Smith.
Lee Jong Hyuk will be the second Korean actor to be cast in the series, joining Han Hyo Joo. The actress will be playing the role of Park So Yun, a character who is forced to make a difficult decision to protect her family after uncovering a previously hidden truth about herself. A glimpse of her role in the series was seen in the teaser that was released this summer.
“Treadstone” is set to air in October on the USA Network.
