"Tazza: One Eyed Jack" Cast Celebrates As Film Surpasses 2 Million Moviegoers
“Tazza: One Eyed Jack” has achieved another impressive feat!
According to the Korean Film Council’s statistics, the film officially surpassed 2 million moviegoers on September 21. The film was originally released on September 11, meaning that it took the movie just 10 days to reach the milestone.
To celebrate the achievement, the cast members of the film—Park Jung Min, Choi Yoo Hwa, Woo Hyun, Lee Kwang Soo, Lim Ji Yeon, and Kwon Hae Hyo—shared a fun video on Instagram.
In the clip, the actors face the camera and use a filter of a banner that has the phrases “Celebration” and “Congratulations” written on it. Park Jung Min and Lim Ji Yeon both celebrate the film hitting 2 million moviegoers with bright smiles on their faces, and Lee Kwang Soo comments, “‘Tazza: One Eyed Jack’ has finally surpassed 2 million [moviegoers]! Thank you so much, everyone. If you haven’t seen ‘Tazza: One Eyed Jack’ yet, we ask for your love and interest at the nearest movie theater near you!”
As the cast makes loud noises of excitement, Choi Yoo Hwa Woo Hyun finally adds, “Let’s receive 2 million and add 4 million!”
Based on a comic of the same name, “Tazza: One-Eyed Jack” is the third installment in the “Tazza” film series. It follows the story of Do Il Chool, a talented poker player and the son of Jjakgwi, a character from the first and second movies.
