"Vagabond" Pulls No. 1 Ratings For 2nd Episode; "Arthdal Chronicles" And "Mother Of Mine" Gear Up For Their Finales
The battle for weekend drama ratings continues to be as fierce as ever!
SBS’s new drama “Vagabond” appears to be off to a stable start: on September 21, the second episode of the action thriller starring Lee Seung Gi and Suzy maintained its position at first place in its time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s second broadcast scored average nationwide ratings of 5.8 percent, 8.1 percent, and 10.3 percent for its three parts, performing similarly to the series premiere from the night before.
With just one episode left to go, KBS 2TV’s “Mother of Mine” continued its longstanding reign over weekend nights. The September 21 episode scored average ratings of 28.4 percent and 33.2 percent, making it the most-watched drama of the evening.
tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles,” which also has only one episode left in its run, scored an average rating of 6.4 percent for its penultimate episode, while MBC’s “Golden Garden” scored average ratings of 6.0 percent, 8.8 percent, and 9.1 percent for the evening.
Finally, JTBC’s “Melo is My Nature” trailed with an average rating of 1.651 percent for the night.
