Shin Seung Ho Talks About 'Moments Of 18' Co-Stars, Characters He Wants To Play, And More

Shin Seung Ho recently sat down and opened up about working on the JTBC drama “Moments of 18,” as well as his hopes for his future acting career.

When asked what his experience was like, Shin Seung Ho said, “It was my first TV project. I met such a great cast and staff, so the set was always lively and fun. I’m sad that it’s come to an end. My parents really liked it too. Their siblings and extended families could see me more too since they could just turn on the TV and watch me.”

In the drama, Shin Seung Ho worked alongside Ong Seong Wu and Kim Hyang Gi, and he had nothing but praise for his co-stars. He said, “I really liked working with Ong Seong Wu. Our conflicts made up a big part of the drama’s story so we naturally became close and stuck to each other a lot. And we worked well too. As an actor and as a person, Ong Seong Wu is very cheerful and lively. He’s so much fun. We have a lot in common.” About Kim Hyang Gi, Shin Seung Ho said, “She’s such an experienced senior when it comes to acting. She has so much experience and I have a lot to learn from her. Even with all that, she’s as bright and lively as you would expect of someone her age.”

Kim Hyang Gi has been acting since she was a child, and another actress with such experience Shin Seung Ho has had the chance to work with is Kim So Hyun in the Netflix series “Love Alarm.” He said, “Regardless of age, I have such deep respect for Kim So Hyun and Kim Hyang Gi. When I was an athlete, I went through some struggles. As someone who knows what it’s like to focus on a single dream from a young age, I have so much respect for them and I think they’re so cool. Whenever I work with them, I have so much to learn from them. They’re friends I’m grateful to have.”

Shin Seung Ho also shared the kind of roles he would like to have in the future, mentioning Park Seo Joon’s character in “Fight My Way.” He explained, “I want to take on a character who is realistic and gives me the chance to display a wide range of emotions from happiness to sorrow, rage, and joy. I think if I play an athlete, I might be able to connect with the character more.”

Finally, Shin Seung Ho was asked if he has his next project lined up and he said, “Not anything concrete as of now. But as I’m still a rookie, I want to appear in as many projects and play as many characters as possible. I want to take on that challenge.”
