SHINee's Taemin Celebrates Key's Birthday In A Hilarious Way While He's Gone
With SHINee’s older members currently serving in the military, Taemin came up with a very unique way of celebrating Key’s birthday on his own this year!
On September 23, Taemin posted on Instagram to share photos of himself posing with a cake in front of a piece of art featuring Key, including one shot of him seemingly looking at it in reverence.

He also went into Key’s closet and filmed himself checking out his jackets before slipping on a cardigan. He turned to the camera and said, “I’m going to go now! Happy birthday, bye!”
Taemin shared more about his celebrations via an Instagram live broadcast that evening, which featured Timoteo of HOTSHOT and their friend Kwonho, who had both also snuck into Key’s home with Taemin.
Taemin asked everyone to congratulate Key on his birthday and explained, “To be honest, I went into Key’s home just now without him knowing.”
He said that he really likes Key’s place and wants it for himself, and joked that if he gets the chance he’ll hold a meet and greet event there. He also said that he’s planning a bazaar where he’ll sell Key’s clothes for charity, at prices from 5,000 won (approximately $4.20) to 10,000 won (approximately $8.40).
Taemin also said that he’d tried to call Key earlier but he didn’t pick up, so he took photos and videos. “I filmed a lot of other things and sent them to Key, and I think I’ll receive feedback soon,” he said.
